Keeping in touch via ZOOM meetings in 2020

One of the challenges that we all face in Covid times in how we manage to keep in touch with colleagues both within our companies and across the wider industry.

Like thousands of others I have had to adapt to working from home, which for someone who was travelling on a plane every other week, was at first a challenge but now has shown amazing benefits.

More time with family is a major benefit but I have found that my connection across the wider industry has also increased as others in similar situations adopt ZOOM and TEAMS meetings as part of their daily routine.

Regular on-line meetings with colleagues across Asia and Europe lead to a wider scope of discussions and doors opening that would not normally be considered.

One such opportunity was recently presented with the opportunity to join a ZOOM meeting sponsored by the UK Contract Flooring Association which allowed me to discuss topics with representatives from numerous manufacturers and open doors for further meetings and exchange of information.

A huge thank you to the CFA group in extending an invitation for me to join the ZOOM meeting.
