CO2nstruct Zero Business Champions

Six Build UK members are among the first ‘Business Champions’ named by the CLC as part of its CO2nstruct Zero programme to drive carbon out of the construction sector. Keltbray, Laing O’Rourke, Mace, Mid Group, Multiplex and Rider Levett Bucknall have all made a commitment to one or more of nine priorities ‐ which include accelerating the shift to zero emission vehicles and plant, enhancing the energy performance of new and existing buildings, and developing low carbon materials ‐ and will demonstrate the steps they are taking to respond to the net zero challenge as role models for the industry.

The CLC is keen to grow the network of Business Champions and will be publishing the latest companies to commit each month. Build UK members across the supply chain can find out more and sign up at any time.
