COVID-19 Compliance and Training Course

The COVID-19 pandemic has introduced numerous challenges to the country. The government has set out a road map for restarting the UK economy with many businesses reopening as a result. The legal obligation to ensure the health and safety of employees, visitors, customers etc requires business owners and directors to rise to the challenges posed by COVID-19.

Parliament and the Prime Minister have confirmed that the HSE WILL be enforcing any lack of compliance to the law in respect to COVID-19 and the associated risks. He also stated that there would be spot inspections conducted by HM inspectors.

Many of Safety Services' clients are now using their consultancy time to assist with areas such as:  

• Re-opening your workplace - Social distancing, new ways of working, gradual reoccupation
• Covid 19 Risk Assessments
• Fire Risk Assessment and the Regulatory Fire Reform Order 2005 - Many businesses, whether they have remained open, or not, are experiencing changes in risk. In all cases, businesses should be aware of these changes in risk and review their Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) accordingly, to ensure they are suitable and sufficient.

Safety Services are running a COVID 19 Awareness course -  this 2.5 hour course via Zoom and will provide delegates with sufficient information regarding safe working practice and to assist in the management and control of risks associated with the current virus.

• Reporting cases in line with RIDDOR
• Access to site
• Social distancing
• Welfare
• Site Office Safety
• Social distancing for onsite activities
• PPE
• Signage
• Briefings to site management teams
• Assistance for individuals with symptoms or confirmed cases
• Isolation for those with symptoms
