Current Industry Surveys

Build UK and its members have received requests for information from various sources which we have summarised below.

• Framework Review ‐ As part of rolling out the Construction Playbook, a review of public sector frameworks is being undertaken by David Mosey who has sent out a detailed questionnaire. Build UK has rationalised the questions for the supply chain, and this survey should be completed by members that bid for public sector frameworks by Friday 5 March.
• PI Insurance ‐ The CLC is undertaking an industry‐wide survey on Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance and will use the results to demonstrate to Government the challenges in obtaining appropriate cover. All members are asked to complete and share this survey by Friday 12 March.
• Cost of COVID‐19 ‐ The CLC is also looking to understand the cost of COVID‐19 to the construction supply chain. Whilst financial support is not anticipated from Government, the data will be helpful in asking for other support measures. This survey is relevant to the top 100 contractors and will be reviewed by the IPA.
