Latest Coronavirus Update

Changes from 19 July 2021:

• One metre rule will end
• Masks in shops, offices, premises and public transport will be voluntary.
• Working from home to end unless set by Employers.

Employees can request to work from home under 'Flexible Working'. An
employer can refuse this request, however, if an employee has been working from home during the pandemic, this request would have to be given serious consideration. 

• School bubbles to be abolished

From the 16 August 2021:

Doubled vaccinated people will no longer legally have to self-isolate if they are identified as a close contact of a positive covid 19 case. However, where a person has been in close contact with a positive case they are still advised to take a PCR test at a designated test centre to detect the virus and the variant.

With regard to existing advisory signage, hand sanitiser stations, wiping down touch points, you may wish to keep these measures in place due to current cases rising.

Also, where offices, premises initially spread workstations out, again we would recommend if you have the capacity/space to keep these measures in place.
