Reverse VAT Checklist

The campaign to #StopReverseVAT has now reached almost two million social media users, and Build UK will continue to push for the legislation to be withdrawn until its introduction on 1 March. However, as this is now less than a week away, members are urged to ensure they are prepared for the changes, and Build UK has produced a helpful checklist setting out the steps that should be taken.

HMRC has confirmed that it will ‘apply a light touch’ when dealing with errors in the first six months, provided that companies have attempted to comply with the legislation and acted in good faith, and Build UK’s Practical Guide to Reverse VAT provides an easy to read overview of the legislation.
