BuildUK - Workplace COVID-19 Testing Update
Following on from recent discussions regarding Covid–19 testing in the workplace, the Department for Health & Social Care (DHSC) is keen to work with Build UK to roll out its COVID-19 testing programme.
We expect sites with more than 250 workers to be approached in the first instance and companies selected to take part will be provided with Lateral Flow Test kits, together with guidance on setting up a testing site and online training for staff. They will also be required to commit to managing the process and test results.
DHSC has provided the attached information and is running a series of webinars daily 2-3pm from Wednesday 20 January – Friday 29 January detailing what the testing programme entails.
If you (or your members), have suitable sites and would be interested in being considered for the programme please could you send me the contact details of the appropriate person in your company. It would be extremely helpful if they could attend one of the webinars in the next week and the dial in details are below.
