We are delighted to announce the details of the 2026 A Day at the Races being held once again at the Leicester Racecourse, in Leicestershire and taking place on Tuesday 14 July 2026.
The cost of the event is £102.00 plus VAT (£122.40 in total) per person and included in the ticket price are:
Approximate timings are currently - Gates open at 12:00pm with the meal service also from 12:30pm. The first race is at 2:00pm and the last race at 5:10pm (but are subject to change). Bars and gates close at around 15 minutes after the last race.
Maximum number of guests per table is 10, but smaller bookings are always welcome. There is no official dress code, but we have been advised by the racecourse that they recommend smart/casual when dining in hospitality.
The deadline for booking is Monday 22 June 2026 – please email info@cfa.org.uk with your booking details - company name, booking contact name, contact on the day of the event (if known) and how many places you require. If we are required to supply a purchase order number on your invoice, please include this with your booking.
Please note: The CFA have already paid for tickets in full. Prompt settlement of any invoices for tickets is requested. Refund policy – All tickets once sold are non-refundable, except in the event of any abandonment of the event by the racecourse and the racecourse agreeing to refunds.
Venue information: The racecourse is ideally located close to Leicester train station, which is just 2 miles away. For those traveling by car, the racecourse is approximately 5 miles from Junction 21 of the M1. There are several hotels including a Holiday Inn Express and Hilton Hotel all local to the venue. Hotel options can be found here including any discount codes.
We would also like to mention that prior to this racing event the CFA will be holding it’s Annual General Meeting at the racecourse. Full details will be issued later in the year but please do make a note in your diary.
