FITA has two specialist training centres at Loughborough, England and Kirkcaldy, Scotland with fully equipped practical and lecture areas. FITA offers 20+ standard training courses for both commercial and domestic installers from short one-day workshops to two-, three- and four-day courses as well as bespoke and tailored courses too.

For the commercial installer, courses range from subfloor preparation to commercial sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl tile, linoleum, wood floors, double stick textile installation and more.
Domestic installer courses cover subfloor preparation, domestic sheet vinyl installation, natural floorcoverings alongside a number of varying courses (dependent on the installer's ability) in woods, laminates LVT and carpets, with courses on moisture and estimating too.
