HMRC and the Treasury are consulting on proposals for the UK carbon border adjustment mechanism, which will place a tax on certain carbonâ€intensive imported goods, including cement, ceramics, and iron and steel, from 1 January 2027.
The deadline to submit a response is Thursday 13 June.
