Construction Skills Network report published

The latest Construction Skills Network report published by CITB estimates that the construction industry will need to recruit an additional 251,500 new workers by 2028 (50,300 per year) in order to meet the expected levels of work, with the major sectors for demand including private housing, infrastructure, and repair and maintenance.

Output growth is forecast for all devolved nations and the nine English regions.  Modest growth is expected in 2024 which will increase from 2025.
