The Government has announced plans to overhaul the regulatory regime to reduce the administrative cost on businesses as part of driving economic growth. The plans include consulting this year on improvements to the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases & Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) and the Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
