Following our recent alert regarding fraudulent emails impersonating the CFA, we would like to remind members to remain vigilant. The scam emails falsely requested payment of overdue membership fees and if responded to, we now know they send an invoice that copies CFA branding and styles but with different bank details. Please note that all official CFA renewal invoices will be issued on 1 April 2026 from helen@cfa.org.uk, and our bank details have not changed. If you receive any unexpected payment requests or messages asking for different payment arrangements, please contact the CFA office directly before taking any action.
You can register spam emails with the ICO: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/nuisance-calls-and-messages/spam-emails/report-spam-emails/ or Fraud emails to Action Fraud: Suspicious Email Reporting Service (SERS): report@phishing.gov.uk
If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our admin team via telephone number 0115 941 1126 or email info@cfa.org.uk
