The Scottish networking lunch, golf competition and dinner took place yesterday and was once again held at the Kinross Golf Courses (Perthshire). The day was well supported by members with 35 lunch guests, 31 competitors for the golf competition and 29 attending the golfers dinner.
The weather on the day was extremely changeable, shifting from dry conditions to heavy downpours, with light showers in between, before turning into constant rain for the final hour of the competition, but this did nothing to dampen spirits.. The competition, played concurrently on both the Bruce and Montgomery courses, was still enjoyed by all and both courses provided an excellent test of golf. Once the rounds were complete, players gathered to share a meal and good company before the day concluded with the prize-giving ceremony, where the achievements of the winners were celebrated. The winner of this year’s competition was David Anderson (TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring), with Lee Jarvis (Floor Safe Solutions) in second place and John Morrison (General & Technical Flooring Services) in third place.
